Image source: Velco Talking about his inspiration, Velco said, “My main inspiration when drawing has been coming from me trying to express my feelings, thoughts and experiences that I find myself living at the moment as well as from the conversations that I’ve had the pleasure to share with my clients. Everyone that has been coming to get a tattoo with me has shared snapshots of their lives and realities which have influenced the way I now perceive my own life”

Image source: Velco The artist further elaborated, “The ambiance of where I’m drawing is very important for me; from the lighting, sounds and aroma in the environment. All of these elements help me get lost in my internal universe and help me let out what I need to communicate with myself and with the world.” “The window frames that I’ve been designing and tattooing have been a product that; a portal to another reality. And it’s beautiful to know that there are now multiple portals wondering around the world providing us with glances to other universes,” he added.

Image source: Velco Velco also mentioned, “My main project for the years to come is to start working in different cities and countries in order to explore the many cultures, food, art, architecture, and ways of living that exist in the world we live in as well as to expand my knowledge on 3D modeling and 2D animation in hopes of supplementing the universe I’ve been creating with my artwork.”
