Reflecting on her creative process, Soosh said, “For me creative process starts way before it manifests itself in something material – like a sketch, a drawing or a sculpture. To say it starts are not even the correct words, because it never ends. There is always thoughts, feelings, dreams, fears, ideas, concepts and questions roaming in my head and to give it a go and solve the mysteries of life that puzzle or amaze me, I sit down and create something. I would say that any illustration or story or other piece of work is rather byproduct of the creative process within. When time comes to actually do something I need space, I need quiet and isolated place so that no one could interfere with whatever they bring with them – words of admiration or criticism it matters not – what matters for me is being one on one with my inner self and emerged from this blessed solitude with something ready to face the outside world. I like observing people, they are my main sphere of interest. People make me ask questions, they also make me stop and admire some wonderful acts of kindness they are so generously sharing with the world. I would say that my creative process is not separated with the life I live.” Check out some of her wonderful works in the gallery below.
