The artist has been working on paintings for a very long time and usually creates 5-6 paintings per year. “Perhaps because I was trained as a sculptor, I’m not exactly a traditional painter,” Kurasov tells DeMilked “I have been working on a sketch with a pencil for a long time, building up the structure of the composition. After being transferred to canvas, it remains unchanged and the main aesthetic goal.
